Every October, Southington High School hosts bands from across Connecticut and beyond for a USBands-sanctioned competition that has grown into the area’s largest show — capped by the Blue Knights performing in exhibition on their home field. It takes every Band Backer family to put on: concessions, parking, hosting, judging logistics, and more.
Gates open in the early afternoon; bands perform through the evening. Schedule and final scores post on usbands.org — links here as the date approaches.
