ABOUT BKMB — BOILERPLATE

The Southington Blue Knights Marching Band & Color Guard (BKMB) is the competitive marching ensemble of Southington High School in Southington, Connecticut, with a championship tradition reaching back to the 1990s. Its sister program, the Southington Winter Guard, is the 2026 WGI Scholastic A World Champion — the first Connecticut guard to win gold in any class in 20 years. Both programs are supported by the Southington Band Backers, an all-volunteer parent organization, and host Music of the Knight, the area’s largest marching-band competition, each October at Southington High School.
