BKMB Update March 1, 2024

Student Admin reports that now that Sub Sale points are all applied, we are now in a quiet period until Summer.

The Scholarship Committee will be receiving applications soon for BKMB Scholarships and the Richard Santanella Scholarship and will begin the selection process.

The Banquet Committee has begun working on the Imagine show patches and plaques to hand out at the Band Banquet on April 17, 2024.

The Banquet Raffle Committee reports that soon they will be creating a sign-up for families to contribute Raffle items for baskets.

We are still looking for a Recording Secretary Board Member as our current Secretary has a graduating senior. We are also looking for a Winter Program Board Member because our current WP also has a graduating senior. Nominations are welcome, and we will announce the candidates at the next Band Backer Meeting on Wednesday, March 6th at 7:30 pm. Voting will be held at the April Band Backer Meeting.

A few chairperson opportunities have opened up as well. We are looking for a MOTK Concessions Chairperson and a Merchandise Chairperson. Both of those positions can be filled by two people if you want to work with a friend.
