Band Backer’s Update – May 3, 2024
It is feeling like Spring out there and we are well into the swing of preparing for the 2024 Marching Band Season! We will be starting to have some more volume in emails before things slow briefly in the first half of summer. Please take the time to digest all these updates and if you have ANY questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

The Fall Show has been Announced!
REMINDER: Memorial Day Parade on Monday 5/27
We need some volunteers to walk with the band, distribute water, help with loading and unloading. Please reach out to Sara if you can help!

There’s still a few from fall and winter that haven’t paid dues. Please check your statement and if you owe money to the organization please prioritize paying that before we close the books for the year. Any questions, please reach out to Katie.
UNIFORMS

A big project will be underway after the Memorial Day Parade, and the uniform committee could use some help. We will be numbering each uniform piece before the start of the 2024-25 season. Please reach out to Dawn if you can help.
The schedule will coincide with the color guard practice schedule - more info forthcoming.

Congratulations to our top seller and Pizza Party Winner: Mason Bandish with 72 calendars sold!
Thanks to all those who sold calendars- we raised $3210 for the BKMB!
A reminder that winners will be notified directly, & announced on Sundays (5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2) via BKMB Facebook & Website.

The Marching Band Website has gone through an overhaul! This is still very much a work in progress, but we would appreciate you visiting and sharing any thoughts that you might have with Abby. We hope that you will find it to be a more organized and navigable site with access to things like newsletter, meeting minutes, past show details, current year information, calendar, and more!
