Wow-another amazing MOTK in the books. What an awesome night of hard work and excellent performances. Parents, I can not begin to thank you for all the amazing work you did to put this show together. This IS absolutely the best competition of the season. Students-you delivered the best show you possibly could have tonight. I am so proud of all your accomplishments. No time to rest now! Well, this just about wraps up our 2018 band camp season! Can you believe it! I hope you were able to come out tonight to our open rehearsal. The band did an awesome job demonstrating all they’ve learned over the past two weeks. If you weren’t able to make it, here is a video of our final run. Thanks for all your support!!

Hey Band! Wow-what an excellent first week of camp. New folks-you should be extremely proud of all you did this week, and hey, you survived week 1! Hi All-day three of band camp in progress! I am extremely proud of all the work the kids are doing and of how hard they are working! I’ve even enlisted some helpers! Despite some weather issues and dodging rain drops we’re moving along and accomplishing so much! Stay tuned for more!!!

The week before camp….
Well here it is, the last official week before band camp begins. Last week of freedom, last few days of optional sun and heat, last…..but I look at it as the beginning. The beginning of a season where memories are made, where goals are set, where competition ramps up (get it?! Haha!), and where challenges are faced head on with no fear. So, I will enjoy my last week of official summer with my family on the beach, but I am looking forward to getting back with my BKMB family soon.
