Program Guide Ad Submission Update 8/15/23
Good afternoon, Southington BKMB familes!
The Program Guide Committee is continuing to accept your student’s ad sales for the Music of the Knight program guide. A few things to remember:
- Make sure you have all the pieces required when you drop off the ads this week: payment, sponsor form, and the ad itself. Please do not use paper clips to fasten the ad to the other forms, and please do not fold the ad. The Committee needs the print to be as clean as possible for a perfect scan into the book.
- Don’t forget that parents and families can purchase ads, too! Show your support for your band and color guard performers by creating a personal ad just for them. I have attached some examples of past personal ads. The personal ads are the same price and sizes as what we are selling to our sponsors. And they count towards your student’s points!
- Person to Person ads (P2P): only three P2Ps ads have been purchased so far. Unless we have at least thirty (30) P2P ads bought, we will have to omit the P2P section from the book this year. Attached to this email is a sample of past P2Ps look like, to give you some ideas. And P2Ps count towards your student’s points, too! Here’s the link for the P2P info sheet: 2023 P2P Letter .docx . There will also be hard copies in the band room that your student can bring home.
- Remaining ad drop-off days and times are today, August 15th, 4:30 pm; Wednesday, August 16th, 4:30 pm; Thursday, August 17th, 4:30 pm; Friday, August 18th, 4:30 pm; and Monday, August 21st, 4:30 pm. No submissions will be accepted after 8/21.
